DESCRIPTION/STATEMENT: By a series of hermetically sealed deer bones, I wanted to capture man’s arrogant land ethic. I chose the deer since it epitomizes a species that has run amuck from previous ‘managerial’ attempts, what comes to mind is the lyme’s epidemic, chronic wasting disease, frequent roadside bloodshed, bloated carcasses and now epizootic hemorrhagic disease; an imbalance that slaps us in the face while we happily shove hunting money in our pockets – wake the fuck up!
