DESCRIPTION/STATEMENT: Corpus migratorius is a reflection on the experience of displacement. This experience implies a loss of home. Home is a place, a feeling, a bodily sensation. The loss of home through displacement is a potentially traumatic experience that reverberates through our being on a physical, emotional, and intellectual level. The boundaries of the self become more porous as the connections between our inner worlds and our outer worlds manifest themselves through their painful absence.
