TITLE: Bones of the Earth
MEDIUM: digital collage on paper, stones from Lake Michigan, Curly Maple frame from St. Vincent de Paul
DIMENSIONS/RUN TIME: 12 1/2″ x 15 1/2″
DESCRIPTION/STATEMENT: Earth, Water, and Stones/Body, Blood, and Bones. People hold onto stones when they want to feel grounded, or place them in remembrance. These actions are manifestations of our connection to all creation, to time before time, to ancestors, and our earth home. This work celebrates the power of the Stone People, their vibration, and their role as Bones of the Earth. We are of Earth, Stars, and the vibrations held in Stones. Earth sustains us and will reclaim us, and back to the Stars we go. So the circle goes.
