TITLE: Where the land lies
DATE: 2010
MEDIUM: graphite, bone, wax and wood
DIMENSIONS/RUN TIME: 19″ x 19″
DESCRIPTION/STATEMENT: Where the land lies. The roadside punctuated by the familiar mounds of fur. The last cry from her rabid mouth. Its echo in my head for days. The hot sun and the teeth than came to greet her. Wordsworth and his heedless daffodils. The rot they grew on. Their acrid sweet smells. Stuck in my throat for days. Bones in the grass. The final lie of separation.
